My last Comments of the evening didn't post last night, must have hit the wrong button. Unfortunately, I can't use honey on her, the ants would have her picked to the bone in short order.

This morning there have been some signs of improvement. Much of the dark coloring in the wattle on the other side is gone & the earlobe is not quite as swollen as it was. Gonna hold off on isolating her as it would probably freak her out, I no longer think this is contagious. I will continue to watch her closely & will keep you posted on her progress. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

You were correct in avoiding honey. Glad to hear there's improvement. I think it was an injury that developed an infection too. Keep us posted.

Earlobe & wattle continue to improve. Spraying on Vetericyn 2xs a day.

We got our first 2 eggs today at 23 weeks & 1 day. Don't know who's responsible though.

Mollie continues to improve, there's no swelling in her lobe anymore & it's barely discolored. Near as I tell she's the only one laying, perhaps professional jealously was motive for this vicious attack.
