Earliest Crowing cocks??

i have 4 welsummerx cockerels hatched april 24th who started crowing about 12 weeks. the biggest, Turkeybird, has been mounting the hens for a couple of weeks. i think he's rather precocious(sp?).

I had a mutt start crowing at 10ish weeks and mounting by 11 and he's 14/15 weeks now and nearly every egg I get is fertilized which I thought was impossible. He's a busy, busy wee man. My other rooster, 8 days younger, started crowing yesterday and he's 13/14ish weeks.

The mutt is quite unfortunate really because other than being a bit too mounting happy, he's the epitome of the perfect rooster. The other is a pure bred blue copper maran I wanted for my own line of maran and olive eggers f1 and f2 gen and he's a bit of a turd....

Had a BCM/CLB start crowing at 2 weeks.
I'd seen videos, but seeing it in person was crazy!
Holy smokes!! I'm really glad that didn't happen. My daughter would have slit my throat before I was able to get to the little guys. Even as is it was tough.

I have a Cream Legbar/Rhode Island Red cross that is doing a credible three-four note crow at 7 weeks. He's pretty well developed. I was going to get rid of all the cockerels, but I've decided to keep him and keep one fewer of the pullets. He's pretty friendly, not nearly as aggressive as the three Rhode Island Red cockerels I have that are the same age but not as well developed. I figure this guy should do pretty well in Texas heat since he clearly is going to have large radiating surfaces. :)
