We recently added a trio of Orpington hens - Pheobe, Estelle and Gertrude!
We almost named one Hilda which was my grandma's name. My daughter liked Gertrude better though. Oh well.Love the name Estelle, might have to borrow that one!
Gertrude is my great grandma's name, not sure how much my grandma would appreciate a chicken being named after her mother.
