Okay, so I was just chillin' outside with my peeps. These are the ones I hatched out for the NYD H-A-L. So they're only a couple of months old and today has been beautiful so it was the first time that I've really been able to stay outside long enough to truly pay attention to them since they started developing their combs and waddles.

As I was crouching there and they were circling me, I noticed one of my pullets has a black comb and black earlobes. I've never heard anything about black earlobes before so I'm curious what color eggs she'll be laying.

I don't have any pics yet but hope to get some on Friday when my camera comes home from vacation with my mom. LOL

But anyway, she is a cross between a Black Australorp we call Big Daddy Crow and either an Ameraucana, Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock or any combination of those three. But Daddy is definitely Black Australorp.

Any ideas?
