Early February 2016 Hatch - Who's In?

If you have paper towels you can dampen one and add it in there as well. It will help quite a bit. Or you can add a small container with water. I found that the medicine measuring cup on the top of liquid medicine. It has increased my humidity 15% with 1 cap

The liquid medicine cap is a great idea. I'll try that tomorrow. I tried the paper towel in my Yosoo but it spikes the humidity to 90% and then dries out in a day. I think the sponge would last the 3 days I need it to. Thanks for the ideas! I'm getting excited for day 21!

Here it is and the cups fit perfectly in between the turner.

Stupid question, but how do I lower the humidity? Will taking out the red plugs help

Yes it should depending on the relative humidity where you are located. For me, if I don't add any water, I'm at 12% humidity so when I remove my red plus, the humidity drops quite a bit. Give it a try. Do you have water reservoirs?

Yes there all full!

I'd remove the water in over half of the reservoirs. Keep in mind that the biggest impact on humidity comes from the amount of surface area exposed versus the depths of that water. For example, if you have 2 containers of equal size half full, it would still be increasing your humidity more than one of those containers completely full. Hope that helps.

Will do thanks!!

I candled today and 39/40 are looking good. Air cells a little small for 6-7 days. Slightly staggered due to egg production numbers. 1 scrambled blood ring. Removed. My humidity gauge has got to be wrong. I need to disable the alarm and get a new one. Have to wait until Friday.

YAY! 39 out of 40 is a great fertility! I say listen to your air cells. If they say they are too small then lower the humidity.
