Early hatch 21 days ducks

Hi just wondering how many of you had duck eggs hatch earlier than day 26 ?? Ive just turnned an candled my eggs (day 21/22) an when i watched them they were rocking so much ... do they do this alot before hatch ??

yep! you have anxious little chicks! let them be, they need to get into position before hatch.

I had one of my ducks pip day 25 it took almost 48 hours after external pip for it to hatch though

No my father in law got them of a farmer he knows an just said take 28 days ?? But looking up eggs the size an colour id say mallard ducks

Possibly they had been started or the incubator was a bit too high in temperature.

Ive had it at constant 37.5 the only thing was humidity was high at first an i changed incubators around day 18 .. am i ok to still be turning the eggs ?
