Early molting?

I have one who is losing feathers in the same area and it looks like pin feathers coming in. She is about 6 months old and laying. Not sure if she is my OE or Orpington. She has been like this for about 3 weeks. The other 5 are fine. It doesn’t seem anyone is pecking her, actually she picks on others. No roosters. Pics for reference.
Looks to be a Black Australorp. She is most likely molting then, if you can see pin feathers coming up.

This is her as a chick. We got her from a local place. Supposedly 3 EE, 1 Welsummer, 1 Chocolate Orpington and 1 OE. I only know which 3 are the EE’s and the Welsummer. I can’t even tell pecking order. They sleep different spots on the roost and line up everyday differently to go to bed. Lol!

She turned out beautiful!

Absolutely. Yes, the final juvenile molt can be almost as heavy as the first adult molt. There's no denying those pin feathers.

My two five-week olds are just now starting their first juvenile molt. It's funny finding their miniature feathers among the gallons of adult molt feathers from the rest of my flock.

Those are some stunning chickens you have.

Okay, thank you!❤️

That’s what I figured! I paid top price for some of these chickens based on their breed from Jersey Chickens. Next time, I may have to order from a more reputable place. Thank you. Not sure what they are but they are loved just like any other chicken. Just wish I didn’t pay so much for them. SMH
