Hi. One of my coops has tons of earwigs living in it. I also noticed black widow eggs. Does anyone know if I can spray inside the coop with bug spray? If not, how do I get rid of these bugs. Yuck!! Please help!

Umm I had a earwig infestation once I just made stools in the coop so my chicken could reach them and my chicken ate them all. Can you send me a pic of the infested area's in the coop (or the outside).

The chickens can eliminate all of them in three days

I will go take a picture to show you. Unfortunately, I only have one hen in the coop at the moment, and the earwigs are hiding in the straw/shavings in one nesting box and up in a corner of the coop where she can't reach.

They were in my shed too, but we were able to close up most of the cracks where they were breeding, then my other 2 chickens came in the shed one day and ate most of them.

Oh ya I don't know any bug spray but I gave stools to my chickens so they could reach it that is all the information I have.

Take out the shavings and then put a stool on that nesting box then put a chicken on that stool. This is if you want to get rid of them If that was me I would knock all of them into a bucket with dirt an leaves and a little wood and then breed them for treats for my chickens
Thanks for the idea! I'll give it a try. :thumbsup
