Please help me sex these. I was under the impression that dark red wing patches indicated males ...now I'm seeing dark red in the barred feathered chicks...

It looks like a hen to me, but I‘m a novice. My EE pullets had combs like tours, my cockerels have pea combs, and they were much larger and redder

There's 4 different chicks here...the 4th is getting a red comb so I'm pretty sure it's male...but it is 2 weeks older than the others.
 
Oh I see, they are all gorgeous, I have a pullet and cockerel that have similar colouring, that looks like the first one there. I’d say the first pic looks like a hen
