They are actually more of a pastel pink, they look neon in the pic tho I agree lol probably from the direct sunlightBraveheart lays a pink egg, but it's more salmon, not neon!
The pink is the bloom. The shell is still brown underneath. I just thought it was cool. I'm a grown woman, wife to a hungry italian, mother to needy kids, maid for all of em, sole care taker of hens and goat in the barn, chicks in the brooder and duck eggs in the bator. I've got WAAAAAY better things to do than "pull a fast one" on complete strangers in an online backyard chicken forum.Ya I've had lots of chicken breeds and have seen lots of different chicken eggs and nothing lays a egg that pink. Either someones pulling a fast one on you or your trying to pull a fast one on us(which i have seen on here quite a few times). Its one or the other, their is no other possible option. Also given on one of the eggs you can still see the brown color at big end of the egg the color it originally was.
Woah woah, PLEASE watch your language, this is a Kid friendly site. That's not pink dust its bits of wood shavings and chicken shit. That's not a fingerprint that's the reflection from the sunshine WOW
