Easter egger 5 weeks old. Pullet or cockerel?

I was thinking pullet because comb is small and yellow but those tail feathers are suspicious.

Thank goodness. I didn’t have any doubts then had a friend over who also has chickens and she said she was a roo.

I’d say it’s definitely a pullet. My Easter Eggers always seem to have funky tail feathers when they’re younger but unless you’ve got curling tail feathers at an older age there’s no reason to worry.

looks just like my EE's tail feathers did, and they were all pullets. seems like some of them just look kinda crazy at first
