Easter Egger club!

Ok, mine are about 18 weeks old so it looks like I'll have to be patient a little longer. They both have quite small pea combs so it is hard to check their colour unless they are standing still and looking right at you.:rolleyes:
Edwina, my olive egger, is looking very big and plump though!
 
They’re about 23 weeks old. All 6 have red combs but only 1 has been squatting. So I’m not quite sure who laid the second egg.

I have heard that EEs can take up to 28 weeks to start laying. It may be a while yet. I will say that neither of my new hens have bright red combs but they are laying.

I'm sure he will be beautiful!!! That's one thing so fun about EEs. They are individual surprises. I can see my roos get prettier by the day.
