Quick question about combs. Do EEs normally have pea combs? My little girl isn't showing anything but I was curious what I should be looking for

Here is a link to egg color. It's the best one I have found. http://scratchcradle.wordpress.com/2012/07/01/gms1-genetics-of-egg-color/Ah, but that's not what I was asking... I wanted something that folds the statistics of the crosses in as well. I have no way of knowing what the breed cross was, and I'm wondering what are the odds of for example, blue eggs. If it's dominant, that helps. Is this a simple dominance, or is it more like color genetics in horses, which is fairly complicated?

There is a school of thought that if a bird lays blue or green then it is an EE. If it lays any other color like white, tan, pink, etc. then it is a mutt regardless if it hatched from a blue or green egg or not. You will find people on both sides of that fence.![]()
I agree, but if you look on the Ameraucauna or Auracana sites, you will see lots of "discussion" on the topic of what to call which bird. If you breed two Ameraucaunas of different colors together, the resulting offspring is an EE.....Nice website! I've bookmarked that.![]()
If the school of thought you describe carried, wouldn't be impossible to sell a chick as an EE? Hmmm.... Of course, mine were sold as Arucanas, which I was pretty sure wasn't accurate, but...
Oh look, I'm not an egg anymore, I've hatched! LOL.
