X2 with the addition that live mealworms are awesome because of the way they wiggle. You can pick them up at any pet store that has a reptile section.Mealworms (freeze dried) are a great treat - hold them in your hand so they have to get close to you. I don't think they can resist once they see and taste them. That will get them to "love" you or at least see your presence as an treat opp.
My EE doesn't like to be petted but does like to fly up on me when I bend over. I pat my shoulder and say up - you can tell when they are thinking about it by the way they crane their neck and peer up. Just watch your eyes if they do get on you.
I did spend a lot of time holding and carrying them as babies and still have them get on me so I can put them to bed every night, so you might only get them to come to you for treats. Best bet is to start training them as babies (like has been mentioned) with treats and refrain from any chasing (that can be time consuming - getting them used to your hands and convincing them to get on you)
Good luck!
Mine get a big bowl of veggies and things every morning. When they were babies they loved broccoli, but now they won't touch the stuff. Their favorite food by far is rolled oats. I get a 50 pound bag at the feed store for around $15. They also love watermelon, spaghetti squash, peas, corn, bread and cheese. They come running for the oats!Thank you SavannahmOm and ochochicas for the information! You said give them lots of treat like what kind?
