We have our very FIRST egg!!!! :)

Hi everyone.
I'm not so sure my EE is a EE. She's starting to look very different.
Right now I'm worried about her sex too. Do you think she's a EE? Do you think she's a she or a he?

She has some feathers on her legs too.

How old is she? The cheeks say EE with a single comb. Could very well be female; my 12-13 week old Rocks have similar sized combs.

6 weeks old. She feathered out really fast! She always had a large comb. (I got her when she was still wet from hatching!) It's almost impossible to see in this pic, but right when I saw her I thought she had a large sized comb anyway.
Faverolles have puffy cheeks and also feathered legs. I'd guess she could be a Faverolles crossed with something else (white leghorn, etc). Pure Faverolles have five toes, but she could be a quarter and not have the extra toes. It will be a surprise when you see what color egg she lays.

One of my 21 week old EEs whom I thought was not laying yet left me a surprise in another section of the barn this week. This is an old brooder.

Yesterday I caught her flying over the 12 ft coop wall in the barn and witnessed her laying this egg.
