Easter Egger club!

I talked to my breeder and she is letting me trade out two of my roos for girls on Monday! Yeah, back in the egg game! I think I will take all 3 just in case she can find me another girl even if it isn't an EE. I hope chicken math doesn't effect me when I get there...

Caramel - Can't tell Cocoa - Pic is blurry, but looks like a pullet. Last two are cockerels for sure. A 6 week old pullet will not have red in its comb. You can also tell by the feather coloring on Luna that he's a boy. Here are my EE cockerel and pullet at 6 weeks. The difference in comb is obvious here and the cockerel had already been crowing for more than a week.
Love their coloring!

Hi there! I came across the thread and couldn't help but add a few EE pics of my own! ^_^

Cute birds, especially Florence. I had a cat named Florence - she was the best cat in the whole world. I still miss her. She'd enjoy having chickens around. :)

OK, it's a lot easier to take pics 45 minutes after roosting! They were so much calmer.

A better side view of caramel, and his/her comb. Boy? Girl?

And the hyper cocoa, even after settling in for the night, looking for the peeping friends. Girl?

These two I got from the pullet bin. The other 3, Luna, Ambrosia, and Goldie came from a breeder who is letting me swap them out for her last 2 EE girls(she claims they are ameraucanas) , and a sex link. Goldie isn't pictured above cause there is no denying boy now. He was pictured in my first posting a few pages back if your real curious.

from what I have read and please anyone correct me if I'm wrong. If there is more then 1 cockerel in flock the others sometimes slow down on the growth of comb. Depending on pecking order.
Picture one is sassy now. What you may want to look for is lack of growth in tail and red on wings.
