I enlarged the picture to get a better look . Rocks do not have white ear lobes . Look like light brown leghorns to me . Also partridge should be laced on hens .

Yea, looks right like my brown leghorns.

They both have yellow earlobs but now im starting to believe that i have brown leghorns :0 wow they havent layed an egg yet so i will definitely know what i have when they do.

i got them from my local feed store Southern States, I also got barred rock hens and buff orphingtons from them as well.

That's the thing with feed stores. They say they are one breed, but later on you can tell they aren't. ESPECIALLY when they say they are pullets and they aren't.

lol yes I got a rooster when it was supposed to be a pullet. But in the long run it was okbecause we needed a rooster anyways. Lol

Yea. One time you need a roo the next you have too many and need to get rid of some! But yea, I got 5 chicks out of a "pullet" bin one time and all were roos. Darn feed stores! I had too many bad experiences picking out chicks there!

So true! I got 8 "pullets" from the feed store in March and only 3 of them grew up to be what they were supposed to be. I only got one EE pullet out of the bunch. Oh well, I guess that is better than none!

I gave up on tsc. I order from hatcheries now every year. Do you have a pic of your ee pullet? I love EE's, they are my favorite!
