Quote: Yea, they aren't in those pictures. XD They were like two weeks old...... I just don't have recent pictures of them uploaded to my computer yet. XD I'm a bit lazy-- can you tell?
so sad! Sorry about your chicken!I used to have an EE hen called Blackbeard. (at least, from the description in the hatchery's catalog she was an EE, but the hatchery called them americanas) when she was a pullet, she would always be flying up onto my shoulder, and when she got older she would come running to get picked up and then purr. (I've heard of White Faced Black Spanish chickens purring, but I've never had any.) she was killed by the bear last year.
Oh no!! I'm sorry! That must have been heartbreaking.I used to have an EE hen called Blackbeard. Wow!! So glad she okay!!! How old is she?We have an amazing EE chicken named Elenor. She was about 10 weeks old when she was slammed in the door, the wind was REALLY strong. We thought she was going to die, but she stuck in there. She layed on her back for three weeks and now she walks with a limp and skwalks loudly when she lays eggs. We never found out what broke, but there was never any blood.
