How are all my EE chicken owning friends??

I am not sure, I thought I was good day, but when I went to let the girls out one of them chewed me out. She refused to go out the chicken door and stood by the human door and bawled me out until I opened it. Then she went towards the grain instead of the outside door....

I picked her up, and got told off again. I set her outside and turned to lock the inside human door and looked down and she was between my feet again. I then kind of shuffled her out the door with my feet.

She resisted at the door and finally flew up on the fence, and looked at me and I am willing to bet what I heard was chicken cussing...

So I am trying to re-evaluate how I am today, obviously she did not think I was as good today as I did.

I have four EE I purchased from Meyers and they are probably close to laying judging by their attitudes and combs. They were day olds that arrived on July 15th, so they are about five months old.

I haven't officially named them, but the golden one I've been calling Goldie Hawn and the one that looks like a hawk I've called Hawk. The black one is my favorite, she's very quiet and delicate. The grey one likes to jump up on the fence and into my neighbors yard so they are confined to the netting area for winter. The gold one rushes to the door when I come to their run. She follows me around and pecks at my feet. I can't decide if she's aggressive or just nosey.

Since we have had much rain here in Northern California my girls are "bawk-bawking" at me each time I go out to check on them. I think they are demanding I stop the rain since they take shelter in the coop to stay dry. We have a day reprieve today with sun, so they're happy today! They are so much fun.
