If anyone want's to take a guess at gender
I'm curious as to what others think, there are a few more pics in this thread too

We were just doing a little chicken math
From one ee roo we ve hatch 48 beautiful babies, and.sold 40 & lost 2 too long in hatching. For a.couple folks with limited experienve before July, we are on the + side with chickens paying for themselves

It's nice when that finally happens. I have 9 quails laying eggs and in the last week I have profited almost 80 bucks from the eggs, and birds!

EE's are very popular with the general backyard chicken owner around here. I'm hoping mine pay for themselves, too. They are very sweet birds. I love having them.

That is awesome! We hatched 20 eggs from our Rooster, but I sold a bunch of hatching eggs which is definitely a lot more profitable than selling eating eggs. We sold a few of our chicks, but are waiting to see which ones we want to keep. I have a feeling we'll sell POL pullets in the spring for people who don't want to wait for eggs. We lost our rooster and one hen right after the hatch, so we need to keep a couple of replacements.

Maybe in 2015 the chickens will bring in a little money instead of just barely paying for their feed.

Yeah right...back to reality now!
