Easter Egger club!

Lol So far I am failing as a chick photographer, darn it! Just before I click the shutter they're looking right into the camera and flapping their wings, etc, but as I click they all turn away and look boring. Lol I will definitely try again later today when I can take time to.capture their true adorableness.
I used to pick my chicks up and take pictures of them from the side, and then from the top.

Okay, I'll try that, if I can do it quick enough that they won't get chilled. The room will be very warm this afternoon due to western exposure, so I'll try some chick fashion photography.

Hello everyone, I just began my chicken adventure in April and I now have a nice backyard coop and run with 6 hens. One of the first ones I got is all black with muffs, beard and black legs. Her toes are evenly marked, the middle toes are white, the inner and rear toes are black and the outer front toes are black with a white stripe. I think it's pretty amazing that they match. So, she was a swap purchase and I thought she looked interesting with her muffs and beard. She is probably pushing 5 months old now. My others are a BO, two Speckled Sussex and two Welsummers. Here is the black one, no name for her as of yet!
