Easter Egger club!

We are broken-hearted to find out our Twilight is a cockerel. He's just 5 weeks old today. What are the chances I will be able to find him a good home? The sooner the better, we'd be less attached.

You could advertise him on Craigslist or Facebook (if you do that ) for $5-10. Maybe some one will want him as a breeding/guard rooster. If he doesn't sell right away, you will probably just want to list him for free.

Hi, I hatched out some eggs sold as Ameruacana, but I think they are actually EE. Can anyone tell what they might be? Here are three of them as examples.(ignore the RIR and Leghorn)

Definitely Easter Eggers. True Ameraucana always have a color/variety specified. If no color or variety is mentioned at purchase, you're getting Easter Eggers.

Absolutely no way you can keep him? I love my accidental EE rooster but he's very protective so I can only have him and no others :-/

there's a few feed stores by me who take roosters to be rehomed. Maybe that's an option for you? I have a straight run Phoenix I took in as a rescue so I'm looking for options myself just in case. Best of luck for little Twilight!

Here is our sweet Spotta, that's what our daughter named our EE. It's like a kinder surprise waiting for her to grow up and give us coloured eggs! Lol

Thanks. Someone else picked up the eggs about ninety miles from here when the went after some others so I did not get any verification. I do have three blue and a black chick that are real BBS Ameruacana. The others I will just sell in another week when they are fully feathered.
Here are three of the four (just after a rooster but I don't bring in older birds) in with my HRIR and Sapphires.
Have a great day.

I would keep him if we didn't already have a good Bantum Silkie rooster, and a fairly small flock. I was up all night worrying about him. My husband will do the culling if I ask, but I am terrible at killing, even the mice that get in my house.
