Gender?

These are all 3/2 EE chicks. I am sure some of the
Photos I snapped quickly are not enough, but I appreciate you trying.
@mymilliefleur Here are the others I could not get loaded.
@junebuggena You were so right about my white OE. Any guesses on these?
Thanks

I must have missed this post, and since I don't get email notifications, I didn't notice you had tagged me.
It's still a tad early, but so far none of them are screaming cockerel. I am a bit suspicious of the black and white birds in the first picture though, especially the one sitting next to the red chick. Other than those two, I think it is safe to say the rest are all pullets, at least for now.

My EE is totally clean faced, now i've got 2 chicks that have feathered legs!

EEs are a mixed breed chicken, anything can pop up. I have had EEs with feathered legs, toes. Right now I have some lovely bantam EEs that are from Ameraucana roo x Blue Laced Red Wyandotte and they have rose combs. I think they are beautiful!

Did you know that quail can be eaten by people who have Chicken allergies. I think the Texas A&M was developed as a lighter meat, full breasted meat quail. the regular cortunix is fine also. The A&M was bred from cortunix. Easy and quick to process also!!

So here is our little EE's week old pics. We finally named her. Ahem, this is Dorothy. We went with our Golden Girls theme, so we have Rose (our older EE), Blanche (our week old LB), and then Dorothy.

Sophia will be chosen tomorrow.

Is it just me, or are EE huge compared to other breeds?? In both our batches of chickies, the EE are the largest.
