OK, so I'll ask again; can anyone recommend a good source for Easter Egger pullets?

Most hatcheries offer them, and do a decent job of sexing them. But vent sexing is more art than science, and only 90% accurate. There is always a chance of a chick being missexed, no matter where you get them from.

I lost another one: This time it was Pepper.

There were no holes in or under the fence, no mutilated body, in fact no sign of any struggle at all; she was just lying on her side, completely unmolested, just - dead. That leaves me with one rooster, one cockerel, one hen a-laying and four remaining pullets.

Maybe I should have gotten 12 chicks...

EDIT: Speaking of which, where would be the best place where I could get some 'replacement' EE pullet/chicks? I live about 40 miles North of Columbia, SC. I figure if I started raising them now they might start laying next spring about the same time as the others.

So-o-o sorry about Pepper!

I freeze half gallon jugs of water to keep the drinking water cool and also place some jugs in a shaded area they like to hang out is. Been seeing temps at 100 without the "feels like" adjustment here. Brutal here, but thankfully no losses so far

I put 2 liters and gallon jugs in run. They lay against them and perch on them. I also do a shallow pan with a block, water and an ice bottle. They then stand on the cool brick.

Hmm boy names too there is Thor, Loki, Odin, Luke, Han, Chewie, Yoda, Vadar, Ren, Snoke, lol watche to much Star Wars, Bachzilla, Zed, Opie, Jax, Zod, Quid, Ward, and Gunner lol there r some ideas
thanks I'll consider all of them! I'll have to narrow it down to one cock name and one puller name!

Was there any sign of anything at all? Blood? I can see you have chain link fence, but I can not tell if it is wrapped with anything else.

Nothing. Her feathers weren't even ruffled. Neither she nor any of the other birds have been acting sick, lethargic or unusual in any way, it's as if she just fell over dead. The pen is chain link, the 'links' being about 1.25-1.5 inches square. I had 'chicken wire' around the entire lower half, mainly to keep smaller pullets in, but I plan on getting some half inch hardware cloth  and attaching it to the bottom of the fencing and into the ground. Perhaps the heat? It has been over 90F for the last three weeks. They do have sufficient water, I have a three gallon water dispenser that I keep filled.

Do you add electrolytes to their water as well? That helps them trough the high temps too. I freeze bottles of water that I set in my coop first them to set near, turn on a fan in side my coops, freeze fruit and give them (scrap fruit mostly) and I water down my runs in the shaded parts of it. They will go stand or sit in the mud to cool off as the water evaporates.
