Easter Egger club!

not sure but i think my newest is either an easter egger or a ameracauna...what do u think

EE cross most likely.Yellow feet.Usually green on EE and slate on Ameraucana.Likely has RIR or buff orp mixed in.

Hi iwanaplae2, The four you have show coloring of pullets right now. Especially the chipmunk striped ones, but it is not 100 percent full proof. Your three that are striped look like our hens, but the dark one could go either way. Our dark brown turned into "Hawkie" who is pictured in this forum a few pages back and is a pullet. Baby pic of our four below: TwoTone second from left turned into a cockerel. He is now 16 weeks and we still were not 100 percent sure he was a cockerel until his "rooster" feathers started to come in (the hackles and saddle feathers on a roo are very "stringy" looking). all of your little ones are cuties

Thanks! I'm not worried about the black one she's a Barred Rock. At this point I'm only worried about one of the EE's. "She's" bigger than the other two (same hatch day) and now, there are little bumps developing on the back of the legs. Right where spurs would go... As far as combs go, so far no bumps just a straight ridge.

I am not an EE or Americauna expert, but don't those chicks usually have green or slate blue legs? So my vote would be this is not an EE at least, not sure about Americauna and I did not see any tell tale "tufts" on the ears or a beard "tuft" which can be common with those types of chickens.
