Easter Egger club!

Finally the big day the big chicks are outside in the run and coop and they're so happy and love it. My roommate and I finally set them free and had a blast.

Oh they look so happy. Congrats on finally having it all finished! It looks amazing! :)

I have 23 week old (3) EEs and (1) RIR in my first flock of 4. I've only been getting eggs from 1 EE (Fluffy). She has been consistently laying in the nest box everyday (with the exception of 1 day when she must have been too tired to get off her roost over night and laid right there)! However neither have been consistent with the time of day. Is that normal?

Your chickies are so cute. Did they run around, flap their wings and try to fly? Once mine got used to being outside that's what they did. It is the cutest thing in the world to see them happy like that. Good job on your coop!
They ran flapped danced all kinds of adorable things they had so much fun outside and were so cute roosting together

Very normal . Most hens take longer than 24 hours to produce a egg . So the time of day moves .So as a example if it takes her 26 hours to produce a egg the time of day moves 2 hours every day until they skip a day . Then the cycle continues .
