Agreed again! Pea combs to me are the easiest to tell, even early on. She's very pretty!

I have two 5 week Easter Egger chicks and one isn't growing otherwise she seems fine but the other chick is a little more than twice her size





Sometimes she's a little more tired but she runs a round plays with the other chickens eat drinks and poops

I had one like that from my last hatch. It kind of did it's own thing opposite of it's hatch mates. Within a few weeks that changed !

still baffles me on how every EE varies so much!! So far we have 2 laying and ones blue and others teal color, 1 more EE to go

My EE - Alma. 21 week old pullet. She is a weird one though. I'll catch her sitting on her tail with her feet outstretched in front of her, but she gets up and runs before I get pictures. She always darts around like she has no sense. She was the cutest little thing when I got her though, but never been too keen on being held or getting to close to me. She watches the other 3 lay each morning, so hoping to have some eggies soon. Cant wait to see what color.

That IS kinda a weird position to sit in... maybe that's her way of practicing for laying an egg!

it is actually not as hard as you think, look it up on pinterest or something, you would be surprised.... some are harder than others, of course but most of the time they are somewhat simple depending on the supplies you have on hand.
