Easter Egger club!

So you thinks it's is a female? The lady I bought her from said at 6 weeks up until at least 10 weeks you have to keep above 63?? Is that not correct?? Sorry I am new at this and want to take good care of my baby EE!

I am not that experienced but comb looks like my pullets did at that age. Here is a pic of my EE cockerels at around 8-10 weeks

Hallo! I am a new chicken owner and I have a flock of 4. Two of Our Girls are EEs. They are all 16 weeks old, so I am very excited to see our egg colors once that starts to happen! I will try to figure out how to put up some pictures on the thread. In the meantime, I have some albums on my profile page.

Melinda

I agree that your baby is a pullet (girl). She has that classic female easter egger look. Totally adorable by the way. She looks a lot like my Tiger Eye when she was 6 weeks old. She's 15 weeks now.
Good luck with your new little flock!!!

Thank you, AuntNomi! My others are a Barred Rock and a Gold Laced Wyandotte. They are Katana and Nutmeg. :) I have a niece whom I call Nomi, what a coincidence!

LOL @cmccullough1390! I would probably have many more, but our city limits the number to 6 hens, and no roosters allowed. For now...
