Not sure if she is laying but I've got someone producing a mystery light olive egg and it's probably her or my other pullet EE Ash. I feel like I've become a nest box stalker.

Edit... Now seeing the two photos next to each other if it wasn't for the feet color I'd sware you broke into my coop and stole my pullet

I'm new to this thread, so thought I would start by showing a not so good picture of my first home grown mixed bred Easter Egger. She just started laying beautiful blue pullet eggs!

She is a mix from my lavender EE hen and my Sliver Spangled Spitzhauben Rooster.

This is her hatch mate Wylie. This was a few months ago. He has developed a big awesome duplex comb from the mix of Pea comb Easter Egger mother an V comb Spitzhauben father. His color is the same...just more adult plumage.

Here's a bit more recent photo of Wylie. No doubt he will carry blue egg gene. Father is from white egg laying breed. His mother is my white Easter Egger that has a bit of brown splashed here and there.

This is true! We have several breeds of chickens. Only 2 Easter Eggers in original flock. But this year our broody Cuckoo Marans hens hatched out 7 more Easter Egger mixes for us. 2 roosters (sadly one had to go) and 5 pullets. Only one is laying so far. The others....3 are Olive Egger hen X Silver Spangled Spitzhauben rooster and 1 Olive Egger hen X Cuckoo Marans rooster. Those 4 should start laying in about a month. I can't wait!

Don't be sorry. I agree that your baby is a pullet (girl). She has that classic female easter egger look. Totally adorable by the way. She looks a lot like my Tiger Eye when she was 6 weeks old. She's 15 weeks now. Good luck with your new little flock!!!
