Around february is when I got her and tweety. So about 6 months? Tweety still no signs of laying habits, but jebs you could totally tell. In and out of nest boxes for days, that funny little chatter they do. So excited!!! Can't wait to see what tweets eggs look like!

They look very little. How many weeks old? Or maybe the bamboo is just big! Eggs yet?

They are approx 3 months old and full of character...

I've had some squatting, flaming red combs, messed up nest boxes. Hoping soon but my girls are less than 5 months. We'll see!

Seems like they do the dance for days before anything happens! I've heard ees are late layers. But 5-6 months seems appropriate. Can't wait to see some from my other girl.

Thanks for the info. I will just stay patient! I'll be waiting at least a few more months with my Buttercups. The EEs are far friendlier than the Buttercups. So cute.

I know! I love my ees!!! And it's like waiting for Christmas morning waiting on their eggs! She laid her second green egg today. And tweety just started squating, so I will be on the look out for her showing other signs. I am so hoping blue.
