We have EE's and a couple of other various breeds but the EE's are our favorite we lost a couple this winter, 1 to an OWL and another to I think just old age.

Our eggs have been average size but just recently we had an egg that was just over 3.5 oz I have not cracked it open yet, I'm guessing at least a double yoke.
