Easter Egger club!

Hi there, I have a few EE chicks (BLRW x blue wheaten ameraucana) 2 pullets and 3 cockerels. Hey, what can ya do? Unfortunately I cannot keep a hundred roosters so the boys will need to go at some point. I love their personalities, so friendly.

Can't wait to get some green eggs from them!

Cockerel, I really wish he was a she. He's so handsome!

Pullet (LOVE the muffs and beards on these guys... and gals.)

All of your EE's are so pretty!

Katie I may be interested in buying back one of those boys! They sure are turning out nicely!!

We had to move our 2 large ee boys into the back pen with their new girl friends...LOL...no major mishaps little tense in the beginning, little peck on Marty boys comb because he wanted to fluff up and be tuff...LOL...I think they'll integrate in better when I gt my mini run built so they can forage. We have seen about 4 hawks in the trees close to the coops, so I can't let them free range every day now. Anyway as I was inspecting Marty tonight to make sure no further pecking had been going on, I though I saw blood...but in reality it is blood reddish feathering coming in on this boy. I'm fairly even more excited to see how he feathers in now, he's got crazy numbers of new feathers coming out. The red is showing on his shoulders and wings so far. I'll get pics in a few days aftr they show from other his rusty colored reddish current coloring.

Night wing is starting to get some of the characteristic bordered feathers on his rump feathering. (He is mixed with SLWyandotte)
They both are just so pretty now, I hope they can get along with their prospective girls. I had planned to have full or at least medium sized chicks from these gals. With Bilbo that will not happen he's such a bantam. But right now he's doing the roo do all the eggs we are getting are fertile. It's all I can do NOT to put a few in the incubator to see what happens....

These are my EE's. Conseula with the copper top is very friendly and like affection. Marisol is quite the opposite. Ironically, I get a lot more eggs from Marisol so the B*tchiness is forgiven.
