My ee x australorps all turned out solid black. They are beautiful though, and friendly. One of them has a crest and a beard, the other one doesn't.

What color was your easter egger in this pairing???

This is the rooster when he was younger. He is 1/2 Legbar, 1/2 Ameraucana. I don't know what color I would all him. All of his Black copper Marans babies hatched black but later had barring or lacing on their necks. The Australorps are all black.

He, unfortunately, died right after the chicks hatched. I'm keeping a couple of his Ameraucana babies to replace him. He was the BEST rooster!
