Easter Egger club!

Pic of my Wheaten Ameraucana/EE cross rooster and one of his chicks from my cream Legbar hen.

Your EE roo is what I look for in an EE roo he meats all the prerequisites ..

Everything I sell as a roo .

Now I am not out to hut anybody and if you feel your chickens are EE's then they are and that is what we are here for is to have fun and the EE chicken is a great breed to have fun with un like the Black Copper Marans chickens I have that are cut so close and everyone finds something to pick on from color to the way the roo stands and the spacing of the legs as chicks I had a roo that grow several white tail feathers and at the age of three years and I had to remove him from the breeding program but them chicks were selling for eleven dollars a chick and that was the price I paid for the chicks five years ago .

My easter egger chicks are out of a Wheaten Ameraucana roo/Cream Legbar hen and White Sapphire hen. Both hens have yellow feet and I see the chicks also have yellow feet, but more of a creamy yellow color. Is that typical? I recall EE from the feed stores having green feet.

Easter Eggers almost always have green/slate legs, however I have a couple of EE's that have yellow legs.

Hi everyone!
So, I only have one chicken at the moment. He is the only one to have survived a massacre last month that killed all of my hens. I had four :,( Anyway, he is the only EE I've ever owned, and I can't wait to get some more. His name is Montezuma, or Monty, and he's beautiful and sweet and quite the little character. He drives my mom crazy with his constant crowing, but I love it, lol. Here's a few pics of him (sorry about the quality, I was using my phone AND it was raining a little):

He's such a stud ;)

He really looks good .

Thank you!!! I was trying to remember how old he was, but I'm not sure. I got him in October and he was about 4-5 weeks old then, so I guess he's about 6 months old now....I think he's already pretty beefy for being so young. And his coloring is GORGEOUS!! Hope I can get some more (and better) pics of him soon to show you :) Don't you just love all the crazy colors you can get with these awesome lil chickies?
