Easter Egger club!

One of my pullets has turned red in the face. I am seriously starting to get excited now because it won't be long until I see her first egg!!!!! She is seriously red too... even more red than my wheaten Ameraucana cockerel that is 2 weeks older than her. A couple of the other girls are getting pinker, so they are right behind her.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking

Like I said, our ultimate plan was to reduce the flock closer to lay, we have several chick raising friends ready to take the extra birds. I guess we'll need to do it soon. Do you think she is doing it to herself? Or the others are picking?
sorry to jump in...our EE were also pecked on due to overcrowding in small areas. I used this purple no peck lotion, dabbed with cotton ball and used red light again. It stayed on for weeks. They are fully healed and I learned a valuable lesson. They were no longer in small run area and we made a temporary run area that they love.
