sorry to jump in...our EE were also pecked on due to overcrowding in small areas. I used this purple no peck lotion, dabbed with cotton ball and used red light again. It stayed on for weeks. They are fully healed and I learned a valuable lesson. They were no longer in small run area and we made a temporary run area that they love.Thanks. That's what I was thinking![]()
Like I said, our ultimate plan was to reduce the flock closer to lay, we have several chick raising friends ready to take the extra birds. I guess we'll need to do it soon. Do you think she is doing it to herself? Or the others are picking?
