Easter Egger Cockerel?

Just a small update. Lots more red feathers quickly coming in all over. Comb has grown slightly but absolutely no pink color (same light peach/yellow as all of the other chicks). She is still not a fan of being handled, no matter how many mealworms I hand out haha.

keep doing the updates like this... Depending on how this goes, you could write an article about spotting characteristics of a male, or having a suspiciously male chick that turned out female...

I will keep going until I know for sure or way or the other. I had a chick that I brought back at two weeks because it was so obviously a male. I've been taking pictures of this chick every day just to compare and see how it grows. Still crossing my fingers for a very masculine pullet and pretty eggs.

Definitely more pink in the comb this morning. The same amount as one of my Barred Rocks who is the same age and definitely a pullet. Those rusty feathers though...

I hate to say, but that's not an araucana. It doesn't match either the UK or the US breed standards.
