Hi! I am new to this site! I was wondering what kind of babies an Easter Egger Frizzle rooster and a Polish hen make?
The hen is golden laced, she is small, and the EE is splash colour I think. He is a big boy. What do you think would be the colour, would they have a crest? Would they lay green, brown or blue eggs?
Also, I only saw that people breed Polish roosters with other hens. Is it possible to do the opposite (Polish hens with other roosters)? Is the size too different?
Thank you!

All the chicks will be blue with varying amounts of lacing, but not as clearly laced as the Polish mom. Half the chicks will be frizzled, half with smooth feathers (50/50 chance for each chick). They will have some crests, but nothing like the Polish mom. Some will have muffs/beards like dad. As he is an EE, unknown what color egg genetics he has. Could be blue/green/teal/tan or pink. As Polish lay white eggs, this will only have a lightening effect on the father's egg color genetics. Please post photos when you hatch the chicks! 😊

Looks like a barred rock egg more than a polish. Maybe you saw her coming out of the nest box after one of the others had laid an egg? Maybe your polish is not laying yet? They can be late layers. The color just does make any sense genetically for it to have come from your polish. 😊
Also your handsome boy does not look to be splash. His markings would be more grey in color. His markings look tan in color. So the blue genetics I described earlier would not apply.
He is a looker though!
