Easter Egger Hen or Roo (Chick #1)

I have seven chicks. They hatched 5/22/15. The rooster was a Lavender Ameraucana. The hen was an Orpington or a Red Sex Link. Here's chick #1 at a day old.



Here it is at about 5 1/2 weeks old:





My guess is a hen.

At five weeks, I am GUESSING that it is a little cockerel. I would not expect to see that much red in the comb and it looks like you're getting some red in the wings, which is typical of roosters.

That said, it's a waiting game. At this point, I'm just making an educated guess.

Given the width and redness of the comb at 5 1/2 weeks, it looks to me like an Easter Egger cockerel.
