Hi! I have a 1 1/2 year old ee from a hatchery that started laying pretty blue eggs at 21 weeks and laid regularly for several months, then took 2 months off this past winter. She started laying again in april, but the eggs were misshappen and lumpy. She stopped laying again three months ago, and hasnt laid since. She eats, drinks, and otherwise is healthy. .... I was concerned she was internally laying. So she got a warm bath and massage... But no luck.... And a silly question, can you feel the gizzard thru the abdomen? I felt what i initially thought was an egg, but seems gizzard shaped.... Anyone have any insight for me? the chickens eat purina layena, crushed egg shells, grit, fresh water, and free ranged daily . I am worried for my smart little chicken!
