Easter egger or Ameraucana?

I recently got some new chicks I ordered "Ameraucanas
but I know I would get Easter Eggers. One of the ones I got has yellowish, not green legs. Has white/yellow fluff. I will post pics soon, but I think they it is an EE but would like to know for sure. Thanks.

Ameraucana have slate legs, not yellow, so it is an EE

Just checked legs, they are slate colored.

Ameraucanas, if i remember correctly, can have black and willow legs too, though?

Im really NOT sure if this is right, im going on what I can remember.



Just keep in mind that EEs are mutts. That means that really, their legs could be many colors.... did you order from a hatchery? If so, they are EE's, no question.

Ameraucanas only have slate legs; araucanas have willow, black or yellow legs, depending on plumage colour.

Yup. EE's are mix...different colored legs, feathers, beaks, and some with or without beards/muffs etc.

Here's our own EE's..not hatchery, but still all mixed.

Yeah, I was expecting to get EE because I ordered from Ideal via feed store. I started looking at one and it didn't look EEish. It was all yellow. Thanks fellow BYC'ers
