Easter egger or Americana?!

Unless they're from a breeder, they're more likely EEs than Ameraucanas. They still lay colorful eggs, may get lucky with a blue. My girls laid greenish - blue tones ...

I purchased them through tractor supply which received them from Hoover's hatchery and on there website they proclaim them as a cross which I never noticed until 30 mins ago.

Thank you, the lighter colored one (Topaz) is a clown. The darker one (Dusty) is the "mature" one. Their personalities are FUN!
I love how they have there own personalities. My RIR girls are the same I have a fiesty girl who likes to peck you when she gets the chance, a laid back girl who let's you do whatever whenever, my Henrietta who let's me pick her up because she is the lazy one haha, and my shy girl but they are all great and eat out of my hand and return to the coup from free ranging all day when called for. I'm still figuring out the chicks

Any chicks advertised at a farm store as Americana, (which is actually a made up name, to confuse people) Ameraucana, or anything else with spelling like that, is going to be a Easter Egger.
I think I know of just 1 or 2 Hatcheries that actually advertise them as EEs too. Meyer Hatchery is one that does sell true Ameraucanas.
