Easter egger? Phoenix? What the hay?

    This is Esther; she's 11 weeks old. When she was tiny, I thought she might be a Phoenix, because of her awesome eyeliner. Then, I thought, an EE, because her legs appeared green-ish. Now, she is very pretty, her back feathers look like they were crafted from leather - really interesting shades of brown.
    Any thoughts?

    Doesn't look like and EE at all to me, but I don't know what it does look like.

    I don't think it is an EE....but I can't give you an idea on what it might be.

    I don't think it's an EE either. My 2 are a darker brown and black. Does she have the green legs still? BTW, Hello from Davison![​IMG]

    Thanks. I think she is beautiful, too. She has a very elusive, daintly temperament. It has been interesting to watch her grow.
    Those assortments from the hatcheries are fun to figure out.
