Fern is the standard and is about the same size as Ida right now. I ordered by three bantam ee's from Meyers Hatchery. Fern was the only one I picked from the mystery chick bin that wasn't in my original order.  The bin was all girls and they told me she was a standard size. She is beautiful but I"m surprised by her size compared to the others. On the other hand my partridge cochin will be 8lbs when full grown is only a third bigger than my bantam chicks.

That boy in the back was "Faith" now I have to think of something else to call him, and if I end up with an ee rooster I will have to find "Faith" another home. Her little "sister", "Grace" 's comb just turned pink today too.

Ooooh okay. Don't worry, they'll fill out in size as they mature.

Oh what's a good rooster name from my list..... Hmmm... I would name him Dude, but that's just me - and for Peep's sake I had a chicken named Platypus!

The Cochin which I didnt have a close up of is Dolly.
The Black mixed EE is Betty Boop.
The Gray EE Hen is Bonnie.
And the Gray EE Roo is Clyde.

Cool! What's his/her/it's name?

1,3, 6, and 7 all look like hens.
2, 4,5, and 8 all have pretty wild coloring, which makes me think roo. They all look like they have pretty pointy hackle feathers, too. 4 and 5 are the top two suspects. Lots of color - and 5 has gold hackles, which is very common for EE boys.
