Easter egger pullet or cockerel?

Please do post updates! I'm on the edge of my seat with this one. I would be curious what their weights were at one week intervals starting at week one. They do look big!
I wish I had a scale that registered smaller weights! Currently we only have one that goes in half lb increments. When I first picked them up at what I’d guess was maybe a few days old at the most, they weren’t really big at all compared to any of the other chicks there. But the two big ones seem to have gotten into that weird teenage gangly stage very early. Haha. I’m curious what they’ll weigh as full grown adults. I have a bantam hen that kind of rules the roost at the moment and I’m hoping she doesn’t get bullied by bigger ones!

This is what’s confusing me too! I got 3 EEs and all 3 combs are relatively the same as far as size, shape, and color. But that red seems so odd for a pullet! Although I’m still holding out some hope for now. Haha. I love the dark coloring too, so really keeping my fingers crossed here! As far as the size, 2 of the 3 are definitely on the bigger side and then the 3rd almost looks like a runt compared to the other two. I’m so curious as to how this one will turn out. Seems as though everyone else is too! Haha.
Yep! The mystery and suspense and curiosity are killing me here. LoL

I’ll definitely keep posting weekly-ish updates! I didn’t expect there to be so many mixed opinions when I made the initial post. 😂 I’m glad it’s not just me who’s confused!

Another update! I’m pretty sure it’s a he. I think I’m seeing extra rows on the comb now.

The coloring does look boyish, but I would keep him until the saddle feathers start to grow in. Just to be sure.
That bird has a single row pea comb. You would have seen the rows much earlier if her had a 3 row pea comb.
Also, 3 row pea combs don't mean anything in EEs. Hens can have 3 rows too.

I myself, would not decide for certain yet. EEs are somewhat tricky. That comb still looks female to me. Watch for more changes in it, and the saddle feather area - those come in super shiny and glisten in the sun. There will be no mistaking those. 😉👍
