That is what I feared! Out of 7 total I'm left with 2 pullets and a silkie who's gender is still a mystery. I have two other lavender orps same age. One girl and one boy. I shouldn't play the lotteryAfter I return the 4 cockerels (3 EE and 1 Orp) should I put my 2 pullets and 1 silkie with the 7 little babies? Who are 2 weeks younger or keep them seperate?![]()
Ok, good deal. My older ones are 4 weeks and 2 days, I have 4 younger ones that are 2 weeks today. The little ones are currently a lot smaller. The ones I would be getting when I swap out the cockerels are 2 weeks tomorrow. So only 1 day younger than the 4 little ones I currently have. That would be 7 little ones total with 3 bigger ones.
Thanks! Then i should arrange a swap for the cockerels asap. Any sense in waiting in hopes any could be hens? do the 3 look like clear cockerels to you?
