The last pic... that is Delta (upper right of the frame), one of the bigger, aggressive ...pullets? I see a bit of blotchy on the breast? Maybe I'm seeing things.

Yes, all pullets.
And debid is exactly right, toward the end of summer, unwanted cockerels will be in abundance, and you can look for your dream bird, and probably get him for a song!
 
Here we go again! Picked up 3 'pullets' last weekend. Not sure why I thought all chicks available in the one coop were pullets but I did and was in a hurry. New to EEs so my misinformed criteria was a certain age range (4 to 8 wks), small combs, out of blue eggs...and one green just for the heck of it. Got them home, pulled them out, and roo-dar went off. Posted on BYC and it was confirmed. Decided to keep that little bug...just in love with him. Over past week, my roo-dar was still beeping so I pulled another one out to inspect and was sure it was a roo. Posted on here. ..yup. the 3rd I'm fairly certain is a pullet so not worried about her. Went back today and traded for 2 more. I swear everything left was roos. Found one that I can see possibly being a pullet. It's very timid, squats down, has the sort of tucked in comb, is fairly feathered out, no red on houlders, legs arent massive, etc. I'll post pics of her first. I suspect she's f2 on one side so not sure how typical she is but figured you would know. The 2nd is setting off my roo-dar but there's also something pulletish about it. Comb is small and not too pinkish. Wattle skin is pinker but not descending. No red on shoulders though neck has some copper. Legs are feathered so I'm suspecting half Marans in which case rust already on neck might indicate roo? Not sure. For the most part, it stands like a pullet. Had no interest in sparring with the younger roo challenging it. But in one of these photos, it is a bit rooish. ..and leg diameter is really thick. Thoughts?
