Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Hello I may be a bit in denial here with all the red I'm hoping this is aView attachment 1336045 nView attachment 1336046 pullet the comb seems small at 8 weeks and I have no pointy feathers anywhere anybody's opinion would help
That's a tough one but I'm leaning pullet. The body feathers are red and it's the same shade as what you see on the wing. Hang in there, these juvenile molts can be confusing.

That is the best I have heard yet. Thank you. My opinion is constantly changing the legs and body are the same size if not smaller than the others of same age.

Wow that would be a real change but a good looking birds. the red started coming in at 3 weeks out of nowhere she is the lighter one in the Forefront and another a few weeks older

Her coloring is consistent even with the copper under tones. I would have said pullet.
Maybe now you would but that was a number of years ago when this thread didn't exist and the whole concept of sexing by juvenile plumage was new. She looked splotchy at times while her patterning was molting away. I think it was this photo that people saw "patches" in.
