Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I saw this photo while ordering some chicks, the coloring looks pretty similar and it is infact a hen.

Good chance yours is as well.

That is a very pretty bird! I'm hoping I get at least one with the beard...

My 6.5 week chicks all have a hint of pink to the comb now and I remember seeing it on the last batch at this same time. If it's not growing or going red, no worries.

FWIW, a rose-pea combo comb looks like a bumpy deflated balloon on a pullet. Does that sound about right? I had one like that in my first chick batch and it sure looked like the "wide comb" pictures people insisted were male pea combs. She lays pretty blue-green eggs. This time around, the bumpy deflated balloon just made me wonder if he's crossed in some Wyandotte or something.

What do you guys think about creme brulee here? I have one that i am 95% sure is a roo, 3 row pink comb, patchy deep red, all the classic signs. But how about this one?

Not sure. Comb is saying rooster to me, but the coloring is daying pullet. How old is she/he?

Yes, that is exactly how I would describe it on Ginger and Curry. Paprika has what looks like a row of peas. Basil's is pointy-looking.

I would love to know where all of ya'll get your easter eggers from. They're all so pretty and colorful! The ones I get from feed store always end up being the drab brown ones
