Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

This is one of my sexed EEs from My PetChicken. It is Exactly 4 weeks. I'm noticing a little comb that the others don't have and it does have the orange head, but not really on the wings yet.
Just wondering if anyone thinks this might be a roo. Wouldn't be surprised with my luck!!

Hello all! Im going to post this pic because noone including myself can help me identify this little gal or guy. It was supposed to have been an EE but the coloring is way different than any EE I've ever seen and it has no muffs or beard. Has some fuzz around the face but other than that I just do

n't know. Btw it is 6 months old

Someone posted a picture of emerging saddle feathers once many pages ago. I just couldn't find it again. Would like to see what they look like so I know what to look for when I check my chicks' backs. If someone has good pictures of what saddle feathers look like on a 10 weeks old (or near that age), would you please post? Thanks.

Separate the feathers on the lower back and see if you find iridescent pointy feathers growing in. Those are early saddle feathers.

So I've looked through the posts, been following it for awhile. I "think" my EE is a pullet ... buuut I'm not completely sure because of the dark red markings. I figured I'd get an option. I got a couple new (though unfortunately not fantastic) pics of her today. Around the beak has never been bright red. I got her around I'm guessing 2-3 weeks old on 5/11.

Pullet. Most likely an EE, not all EE have the beard. The beard and muffs are what I'm breeding for, all clean faced are getting culled from my stock.

If you don't know the age for sure, then we're going to have a hard time with this bird. So you think about 11-12 weeks old? I say could go either way right now. Having a better idea of age would help as we could know whether or not the hackle and saddles should be in. Pattern could be a pullet or could be a cockerel. Comb is pretty big and red, so makes me think cockerel.
